Fabritek utilizes an inspection system that is integrated with a computer based work order program. Work instructions for each production process are specified on every work order, and the associated inspection record is completed for each operation. When a worker signs-off on the quality section of a work order, he is stating that his work complies with all quality requirements as specified. All work orders are held in the job file. When a customer’s quality system requires, a Certificate of Compliance is submitted with shipment. Final inspection ends the process, with products being shipped only when they are known to meet the customer’s quality requirements.
