1964 Fabritek Company was incorporated and began manufacturing under the direction of its founder, Robert H. Hahn, Sr. Initially the company concentrated on maintenance and repair work on machinery for local industry and agriculture.

• 1966 Fabritek moved from its original location to the Winchester Industrial Park south of the city where it continued to expand facilities. Today, Fabritek is under the direction of Robert H. Hahn Jr. and his son Matthew Hahn.
• 1983 Fabritek purchased its first CNC milling machine, a dual spindle Matsuura with a 4^th axis which is still in operation today and holding tolerances down in the tenths.
• 1997 Fabritek became one of the first machine and fabrication shops to have a Waterjet machine.  Fabrication lead time was greatly reduced and quality increased.  Today we have two machines and over twelve years of waterjet machining experience.
• 2000 to keep up with customer demand Fabritek purchases its first CNC press brake.  Again quality was given a boost and lead time was reduced.

In 2004, Fabritek joined with Winchester Tool established in 1987 in Northern Virginia, Winchester Tool LLC and expanded Fabritek’s Micro Machining, EDM and Fabrication capacity as well as much needed floor space to setup large projects.  Operating as one company, Fabritek and Winchester Tool provide a complete range of machine shop and fabrication services under one roof with a rich history of developing customer relationships and on-time deliveries.

• 2005 Fabritek purchased its first Studer CNC cylindrical grinder and began grinding wire guides for the solar industry.  Just five years later we have three CNC grinders with plans for more.

• 2009 Fabritek adopted a value lane management structure.  Clear value lanes were defined, Fabrication, Micro Machining, Cylindrical Grinding and Repair.  Each of these four areas of the company are revitalized, customer relations improve, lead times shorten and improvement projects continually streamline the way we operate.
• 2009 The Winchester Tool Facility achieved their ISO 9001:2008 certification.
